A New Format Brings New Opportunities

After five great years the Ashburton Cookery School and the Festival Association have passed the reins to Born Hectic Events who are pleased to carry on the excellent tradition started by the Cookery School. The day will be much the same as before but with a few changes to develop things further through the ancient town of Ashburton.

The festival is enjoyed for the quality of the food producers and the friendly Ashburton atmosphere with many people saying it is their favourite food festival of the year.

On Saturday 10th Sept, 2016, we will again transform St.Lawrence Lane in the heart of Ashburton with stallholders offering the very best in local food & drink lining the street. However this year, for the first time, we will be extending this into North Street to include as much of the town as we can. Stalls will be arranged to encourage festival visitors to visit the shops as well as the stalls providing all businesses in that area of the town with an opportunity to benefit from the additional footfall generated by the festival.

Events won’t just be limited to St. Lawrence Lane or North Street either with Ashburton’s retailers, pubs and eateries getting involved in the festivities presenting live entertainment into the evening.
