The Ashburton Chamber of Trade has been working with over 50 members of the Ashburton Business Community who have offered their unique, unconditional and uninhibited support for their town by baring all for a very tastefully naked calender in support of local good causes. The project is the brainchild of Postmaster Stuart Rogers – whose vivid imagination is now irreversably and permanently consigned to print. It would not have been possible without Simon Booth of the Emporium and Sophie Richardson of No 14 who dropped everything to persuade other members of the community to do likewise and Mark Burley of Burleve who shot the photos and made judicious use of PhotoShop for which we are eternally grateful whilst his partner Norma Congreve ably kept it all under control.
This unique and never to be repeated item will make an ideal Christmas gift for those with somewhat specialised tastes, or friends and relatives, and is available from the Ashburton Information Centre and many other local outlets – for a limited time only!
There will be a launch event at Ashburton Arts on the 27th October from 6-8PM – come along to reserve your copy and to meet the stars!
